Many of the front pages explore claims made by Earl Spencer in his book about his sister, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Daily Mail, external, which is serialising the book, says the late Queen offered to restore the princess's royal title on the day of her funeral.
It says Earl Spencer claims the news was conveyed to him by the Queen's private secretary and the-then Prince Charles, as they travelled to Diana's burial.
The Daily Express, external says a former aide to the King has said he told his staff never to criticise Diana, in order to preserve her memory.
The i Paper, external includes a column by the former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, who asks: "What is the point of reliving this agony?"
Similarly, the Sun, external's front page headline asks "why is he doing this to the King now?" "Is it really to set the record straight", its editorial ponders, "or is it simply a money-spinning act of spiteful revenge?"
The royal editor of the Daily Mirror, external writes that the King, and Princes William and Harry will be "unanimous in their despair at this latest war of words".
Writing for the Guardian, external, Andy Burnham says Britain must fully commit to reaching net zero by 2050.
He says "British people are no longer insulated from the consequences of the climate crisis, and they do not want to be excluded from the solutions".
In its editorial, the Times, external says what it calls "zerophobia" will spread, unless the government makes the case for clean, homegrown energy which will be affordable, secure and an engine for growth.
The Telegraph, external reports that the chancellor is considering taxing holiday homes in the same way as second homes, rather than businesses, in the forthcoming budget -- adding thousands of pounds to the costs of running them. The paper says tourism bosses are warning that owners of holiday lets would be forced to sell up.
The Financial Times, external says Nick Candy, the Reform UK treasurer, met sanctioned officials from Nicaragua's regime before Metals Exploration - a firm in which he is the second-largest shareholder - won exploration rights in the country. Both Candy and the company say their actions complied with UK processes.
